in actuality, it hasn’t been that long (especially in web terms).
it makes me think about how time is so relative - the days and weeks pass so quickly in my point of view. we’ve gotten so much done in such a short period of time.
in the business world, time passes slowly. often, businesses don’t even break even let alone become profitable within the first 5 or so years. suits & sandals has been around for just under 7 months, and we’ve already developed a rather hefty portfolio. there are still big things on the horizon, and we’ve been gaining momentum every day.
this post isn’t just to brag, it’s also to informally announce something kinda cool:
suits & sandals is currently developing a web development framework and template set, which we will release on our new web design/development blog, Hanger Blog.
Hanger Blog will be a place where we talk about web design inspiration, post tutorials on development techniques, and try to help expand and proliferate the remix culture that is the web design community.
pretty awesome stuff. we always appreciate a good infographic at the suits & sandals office.
Vadim Kibardin created this clock containing only figures with no casing. Each figure has self-contained power supply and independent control, it can be fixed to any surface. A light sensor will switch the clock to white at night time and black at daytime.
Inspiration Pad
we’re getting to the point where expansion is absolutely necessary. so we’re really glad that we were able to take on two new team members, after doing some initial test work with them.
so Suits & Sandals currently consists of:
nick - Partner, Marketing Director
miles - Partner, Creative Director
teddy - Senior Designer
zach - Web Development Project Manager
we’re also bringing on some interns, but we’re still in the interview process. additionally, we’re looking to hire a Marketing Manager.
LOTS of big things goin on.
